Kit 7215 - P-51A Mustang

72015 The High Planes Models P-51A Mustang is still the best (ie most accurate and convincing) available in this scale, and certainly has not been eclipsed by the rather awful Italeri kit, despite it ( the italeri kit) receiving at least one glowing review in a magazine from a probable young modeller. The HIGH PLANES MODELS kit features accurate overall shapes, finely recessed panel lines, and resin wheels, all of which are complemented by an interior detailed enough to enable the completion of a very fine replica in the right hands. The inner wheel flipper doors are moulded closed as appropriate for the P-51A, but if you so want the High Planes Models Mustang wheel wells can be bought separtely and inserted (dropped flaps are also included with the accessory set 7201). Decals are supplied for two USAAF aircraft as used in the CBI area. This fine kit will also not look out of place alongside our Mustang Mk X (72029)
