72020. CAC Winjeel, the locally designed and built, and long serving RAAF basic trainer and FAC aircraft until retired about 1996. Two other Winjeel models have been produced, by one of the Czech resin manufacturers, in both 1/72 and 1/48 scale. However, both were pretty damned awful, being based on pretty damned awful General Arrangement drawings. As they say, Garbage in, Garbage Out. The HIGH PLANES MODELS kit was a long time coming as other projects took priority, but it was based on measurements and study of the real thing. our kit provides a wide assortment of decal options for high-vis trainers and camouflaged FAC machines.
