| Kit No 72032 is the Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter as used by the Australian Army. This kit was originally issued as 72009 in Swiss and Austrian paint schemes, but is now available in three different Australian Army schemes. The first is an early gloss Olive Drab camouflage but with high-vis day-glo panels on wings and tail, and white flaps and elevators. The second scheme is an early '80s camouflage trial in three camouflage colours, tan, green, and black in large areas. The third will tax many modellers but will result in a classy replica if properly implemented, and this is for the final scheme in a rather unique segmented pattern in tan, green and black (think of a smooth curved Swedish scheme), complete with large shark mouth marking. | |
