Only 39 of the later Havoc aircraft were completed as turbinlites, carrying the Helmore aerial searchlight in the nose. They were dispersed among 10 RAF night fighting squadrons, but the concept was not a great success and the squadrons gave up the Turbinlites in 1943. Our kit has options for two all black aircraft, from 536 and 538 Sqns, and one overall medium sea grey/ dark green distruptive pattern on top.
