The RAF need for an effective night fighter during the early war years saw the fitment of the new AI Mk IV radar into the proven Beaufighter. This was a sussess, and the Beaufighter remained potent in this role until replaced by the Mosquito later in the war.

Our kit offers a choice of all black aircraft from 25, 409 and 604 Sqn, RAF. Radar antennae are in etch brass, hedgehog exhausts in resin, remainder of kit as our day fighters.
